The first “DSDS” season without Dieter Bohlen has arrived in its hot phase, the all-important live shows are already on the agenda for the next week. Nine talents secured their ticket in the recall, and two other candidates are still fighting to get in. The reason: Mechito, who was in the top ten after the recall, was later excluded from the competition by Florian Silbereisen because he had concealed a previous conviction. Emine Knapczyk and Dominik Simmen battle it out for their place in a big sing-off on the first live show.
Domenico Tarantino, on the other hand, is sure to be there, and he got Ilse DeLange’s gold disc in the first phase of the show. At the recall in Italy, he performed “Dancing in the Moonlight” by Toploader – and the jury was no longer on their seats.
Ilse DeLange dances on the table
The judges were in a good mood in the last round of decisions before the live shows, Florian Silbereisen, Ilse DeLange and Toby Gad were always carried away by the music. The situation only really “escalated” during Domenico’s performance: Ilse DeLange spontaneously climbed onto the jury desk and brought the candidate in for a little dance performance. Florian Silbereisen and Toby Gad also got up from their seats, but preferred to stay down to earth.

Among the three new jurors, Ilse DeLange is without a doubt the biggest hitter, which she once again demonstrated. However, users on social networks were less carried away by the moment. On the contrary, there were some mocking comments towards the 44-year-old and her colleagues. For example, one viewer wrote:
“When you see the jury dancing like that, you don’t want to believe that they all have something to do with music.”
The verdict of this fan is simply: “Uncomfortable”.
This user specifically targeted Ilse DeLange and Domenico with her post. “My God, now the two idiots have to dance on the podium too! Even Flori is too embarrassed!” she rants.
Finally, another fan doubts that the judges can really concentrate on the candidates’ performance if they constantly provide action themselves:
Incidentally, it is not the first time that Ilse DeLange has been criticized. The judge has a habit of singing along when the contestants perform. Some fans consider that disrespectful, although of course she certainly doesn’t mean it badly. With the dance number she has now upped the ante again.
