Attention: New TV program for Argentina GP 2022 / MotoGP

The schedule for the motorcycle GP in Termas had to be improved twice because of logistical problems. It finally starts on Saturday: when and where the fans can be there live from home.

The last missing boxes arrived at the paddock of the Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo early Saturday morning just before 3am local time. Teams are working flat out to meet the schedule presented Friday night. “3:28 a.m., we’re on our way to the track,” said the Gresini Racing Team via spokesman Cristian Massa on Friday morning. “Our MotoGP team starts at 4 a.m. and then works late into the night.”

As a reminder, the MotoGP class only starts after FP1 and FP2 of the two small classes at 12.35pm local time (5.35pm CEST). Qualifying for the premier class is scheduled to start at 5:05 p.m. (10:05 p.m. CEST).

After the spectators were entertained on Friday in the “Fan Zone” and the MotoGP stars warmed up on the golf course, the track action finally begins on Saturday.

The broadcast times for the 2022 Argentina GP had to be adjusted accordingly: ServusTV will be showing all qualifying sessions live on FreeTV in Germany this Saturday from 6.45 p.m. In Austria, the TV broadcast begins at 7.35 p.m., before that the stream is available online as usual (see below). On Sunday, from 4:20 p.m., all races can be seen as originally planned.

A TV alternative to the Austrian private broadcaster is only available for MotoGP fans from Switzerland: SRF zwei broadcasts the MotoGP race live on Sunday, the Moto2 race can already be seen on SRF info.

The streaming offer

On ServusTV On there is not only the stream of the ServusTV program in German, for users in Austria the entire action of all three World Championship classes (all training sessions, qualifying sessions and races) can be seen in the live stream with the original English commentary. Immediately after each broadcast, all qualifying sessions and races are also available as videos for viewing (also only in Austria).

If the TV rights allow transmission in Austria as well as in Germany, the ServusTV stream with German commentary can also be accessed as usual by users with an IP address from Germany – i.e. for qualifying sessions and races of all classes.

As a paid alternative, the Dorna live stream is available on motogp.com. A full season costs 139.99 euros. All sessions with English commentary are available live and on demand on the official website. There are also numerous videos with interviews and insights behind the scenes of the MotoGP World Championship. The archive also contains all GP races since 1992.

The streaming service DAZN also secured the German-language online rights for the motorcycle world championship in 2022 and will broadcast all training sessions, qualifying sessions and races in the various classes live in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with German commentary. An annual subscription costs EUR 274.99 (or monthly installments of EUR 24.99), a monthly subscription is available for EUR 29.99 and can be canceled monthly.

By the way: If you can’t sit in front of the TV set, we’ll keep you up to date on SPEEDWEEK.com with the live ticker for qualifying and races in the MotoGP class.
