Motsi Mabuse has been part of the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance” since 2007, and the 40-year-old has been on the jury of the popular format for eleven years now. However, she began her career as a dancer for ballroom and Latin American dances and danced with her later husband Evgenij Voznyuk with the professionals from 2011 to 2014. In 2015 the two finally announced that they were in a relationship and married two years later. Since August 2018 they also have a daughter together.

In addition to “Let’s Dance”, the couple also runs a dance school in Kelkheim, but Motsi gave up her career as a professional dancer in 2014. The school keeps the two busy all year round in addition to their jury work. Nevertheless, family life is not neglected. In the RTL interview with Frauke Ludowig, Motsi talked a bit and revealed what will happen to her and Evgenij in the near future.

Motsi Mabuse and her husband want to marry again

Frauke Ludowig spoke about the wedding dances that Motsi and Evgenij are currently increasingly offering in their dance school. Is the “Let’s Dance” judge also considering dancing such a dance at a second wedding? Motsi then proudly revealed:

“I would like to marry my husband again, that’s what we intend to do. Again – and soon.”

As soon as these words came from Motsi’s lips, she stopped herself again and didn’t really want to add anything more. However, Frauke did not give up so quickly and asked whether RTL should not be there when they said yes again. But Motsi put a firm stop to the plan: “No, no, no, I have to call my manager.”

“He’s standing here, I’ll talk to him shortly after the show”announced the moderator full-bodied. Whether she was actually able to make a second wedding date for television with him is still uncertain – and judging by Motsi’s reaction, it’s also quite unlikely.

“Let’s Dance” judge and her husband have to find compromises

Still, Motsi remained chatty about her marriage. There are also challenges to overcome together. When asked what annoys her about her marriage, the juror replied: “It’s difficult, we have a business, our dance school. We work differently and then always come to a point, to understand where the other is and to pick him up … I always have to breathe and let my husband finish speaking and he me too.

And the spouses ultimately solve problems together primarily through compromises: “Then we’ll see how we solve things. I’m spontaneous, he’s structured”Motsi summed it up to Frauke Ludowig.

The two are currently also concerned with the war in Ukraine, Evgenij is a native of the country. Together with the mayor of Kelkheim, the two organized donations: “I promised Motsi that I wouldn’t do any nonsense and take no risks”her husband explained to RTL at the time when he brought the relief supplies to Ukraine. That’s why he wasn’t able to fetch his parents from their hometown of Kharkiv personally, but in the meantime the two managed to escape on their own.

Mike Singer is increasing in “Let’s Dance” from week to week: last Friday he and his dance partner Christina Luft received a strong 26 points from the jury after the musician had started the season rather weakly. A big trump card is certainly the chemistry between the two on the show stage, which is no coincidence. Mike and Christina make no secret of the fact that they get along really well off the court.
