Santos Futebol Clube, with the objective of providing greater comfort and convenience to its members, fans and the general public, opens competition for the exploration of Boteco Santista and food and beverage sales services on match days. Check out the full announcement:

BIDDING OPENING

Santos Futebol Clube, in order to provide greater comfort and convenience to its members, fans and the general public, hereby presents two possibilities for exploring business in Vila Belmiro.

I – BOTECO SANTISTA
In order to maximize the exploitation of the Urbano Caldeira Stadium – “Vila Belmiro” (“ESTÁDIO”), on days with and without games, create a new business segment for Santos Futebol Clube (“CLUBE”) and offer fans and supporters a new entertainment space, the CLUBE invites companies from the Events and Hospitality segment (“PARTNER”) that are interested in commercially exploring, in partnership with the CLUBE, the Marble Hall (“SALÃO”) – approximately 610 m2 – and 10 (ten) Defensive Ground Cabins (“CASAROTES”) – each with 8 (eight) seats – of its STADIUM, as follows:

1. EXPLORATION FORMATS:

A) GAMES:
A.1) At home:
– Space(s): SALON and STATEROOMS
– Game(s): all CLUB games held at the STADIUM.
Note: it will be possible to sell alcoholic beverages until the opening time of the gates.
A.2) Away from home:
– Space(s): SALON
– Game(s): all CLUB games played away from home.

B) EVENTS:
On dates that do not conflict with CLUB games and events, the PARTNER may lease the space to third parties or hold their own events, always with the CLUB’s prior consent.
Note: the STADIUM does not have an industrial kitchen.

2. PARTNER OBLIGATIONS:

A) INVESTMENT IN THE SALON:
– Furniture.
– Audiovisual Structure.
– Scenography.
B) GAMES:
– Catering service.
– Musical attractions.
– Operational Staff.
– Access control.
– Cleaning.
C) EVENTS:
– Contractual/legal aspects with third parties.

3. EXPLORATION TERM:
The PARTNER will be able to explore the spaces until 12/31/2023.
Note: the contract will provide for a clause in the event that the CLUB ceases to operate at the STADIUM before 12/31/2023, due to the closing of a deal for the construction of a new arena.

II – F&B SERVICE IN GAMES
The club is looking for a PARTNER who can explore the services of marketing Food & Beverages on match days at the STADIUM, whether in men’s or women’s professional football, or in other categories.
We have a history of an average attendance of 12,000 fans on weekends and 8,000 in the middle of the week, for men’s professional football games. For women’s professional football games, the audience varies from 1,000 to 2,000 fans.
The articles currently sold are: water, soft drinks, ice cream, industrialized snacks, sandwiches, hot dogs, pizzas, among others. The sale of alcoholic beverages is not allowed.
Note: the STADIUM does not have an industrial kitchen.

1. PARTNER OBLIGATIONS:

A) INVESTMENT:
Furniture/equipment and visual communication of cafeterias, uniform for staff and equipment for street vendors.
B) PERSONNEL:
Make staff available in a number consistent with the demand of the games and respecting the rules and operating procedures defined by the CLUB and/or the Event Holding Entity, regarding the number, accreditation and access of employees.
C) PAYMENT SYSTEM:
Provide an own payment system that offers fans the possibility of payment via cash and debit and credit cards and, to the CLUB, the possibility of real-time monitoring and auditing.

2. EXPLORATION TERM:
The PARTNER will be able to explore the spaces until 12/31/2023.
Note: the contract will provide for a clause in the event that the CLUB ceases to operate at the STADIUM before 12/31/2023, due to the closing of a deal for the construction of a new arena.

III. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Be a company in the Catering, Events or Hospitality sector, have at least 5 years of experience in similar projects and be regular with public bodies.

IV. PROPOSALS
Interested parties may participate in items I, II or both.
Proposals must be sent until 04/13/2022, to the email:competinciacatering@santosfc.com.br, containing:
– Updated portfolio.
– Layout proposed for the SALON for the GAMES format (if you are interested in item I – BOTECO SANTISTA).
– Basic menu for BOTECO SANTISTA (GAMES and EVENTS format) and/or for the F&B SERVICE IN GAMES.
– Business model predicting the price of products to customers and the percentage of transfer of revenues to the CLUB, to BOTECO SANTISTA (GAMES and EVENTS format) and/or to the F&B SERVICE IN GAMES.
– Deadline for starting the provision of services.

V. TECHNICAL VISIT AND SUPPORT MATERIALS
Technical visits can be carried out until 04/12/2022, by prior appointment at least 24 hours in advance, via e-mail:competinciacatering@santosfc.com.br.
Photos and floor plans of the locations must also be requested by the same email.

SAW. RESULT
The Management Committee, together with the Administrative, Heritage and Marketing/Relationship Departments, will evaluate the proposals and the winner will be announced by 04/15/2022.
