Anna has little understanding of Jana-Maria’s behavior after the “Bachelor” finale.rtl
There is a new “Bachelor” dream couple: In the 12th season of the RTL dome show, Rosenkavalier Dominik Stuckmann and candidate Anna Rossow found each other. And as they revealed to Frauke Ludowig at the big reunion after the finale, they are still a couple.
Watson spoke to both of them after the finale. In the interview, they not only revealed what happened after the last night of the roses when the cameras were offbut also what next step they are planning together. Will you be seeing them on TV again soon? In addition, Dominik and Anna took a stand on the statement by co-candidate Jana-Maria, who complained at the big reunion that she had been duped by Dominik.
watson: How are you after the final?
Dominik: It’s a liberating feeling right now. I have to say that I am very happy at the moment. No question, it was a wonderful journey, but also a game of hide and seek in the last few weeks. We were at home a lot. And now we are more than happy to finally be able to go out together, to be able to eat something, to be able to go to the cinema.
Anna: I think we’re just happy to look forward to our future together.
“Enjoying the time with ‘Bachelor’ is one thing, but it should go on after that.”
Anna and Dominik are the dream couple of the 12th “Bachelor” season.rtl
Who knew you were a couple?
Dominik: The closest circle knew about it, family and friends. Of course you tell them what’s going on and it’s also quite natural that you want to talk about it. Family and friends were in the know.
Dominik, what made you decide in favor of Anna?
Dominik: On the last date I still had a lot of questions that affected the future. Questions that were also very relevant for me because I really started the journey to fall in love. Then there were two women in the final and it was important for me to know what would happen after that. Enjoying the time with “Bachelor” is one thing, but it should continue after that.
What specific questions did you deal with?
Dominik: I still had a question or two, also considering the sabbatical she was planning. Anna lives in Hamburg, which is also 500 kilometers from Frankfurt. And I’m not a fan of long-distance relationships either, so these were important questions that I wanted to clarify with Anna. After the conversation I was 1000% sure.
After the last date Dominik was finally enthusiastic about Anna.rtl
“That’s when I realized: Now it’s getting more serious for me too.”
Anna, when did you fall in love with Dominik?
Anna: Love is a big word…
Then better, when did you have a crush?
Anna: For me, the overnight date was a very important point, without cameras. For me it was important to be undisturbed with Dominik and to show him that I can also be more relaxed. I’ve often been tense.
And what has changed since then?
Anna: Before that I always thought to myself in relation to Dominik: talk to the women, take the time to get to know the girls. But after the overnight date, I thought: No, I would like to spend time with you, actually you are welcome to ignore the others and talk to me more. That’s when I realized: Now it’s getting more serious for me too.
“I probably would have done that too, so I took apart every sentence. But at some point it also becomes unfair.”
Now Anna and Dominik no longer have to hide their love.rtl
Dominik, you chose Anna, you had to turn down Jana-Maria. She said afterwards that she “feels screwed”. Can you understand that?
Dominik: We all know this show. We know how it works and that feelings arise and then there are only two women in the final. And these women are not in the final for nothing. You develop feelings for both women and you have experienced a unique journey with both of them. But you can’t say you fooled someone… It’s an ugly situation, sure, but I opened up to both women.
Anna: But it is also understandable that when you are “left there” you question everything. I probably would have done that too, i.e. disassembled each sentence. But at some point it becomes unfair.
Jana-Maria could not conquer Dominik Stuckmann’s heart.rtl
Dominik, at the big reunion, Jana-Maria said that she was over you after a few days. How did you feel?
Dominik: I don’t think you can turn off feelings overnight. Maybe Jana-Maria can do that, but whether I believe her or not doesn’t really matter. It is important that Jana-Maria is happy and that is the impression she made. But I believe that it could also be a kind of protective mechanism. It’s also a difficult situation that you probably won’t understand unless you’ve experienced it yourself.
“Dominik was also very honest from the start. I also know what I got myself into.”
When did you get over Jana-Maria, Dominik?
Dominik: As I said, you can’t turn off feelings overnight. I immediately focused on Anna. We enjoyed every minute together and that’s why I can’t say when I stopped thinking about Jana-Maria. Of course I didn’t care about her the next day, there were feelings that were real, but I focused on Anna. And at some point the time came when I stopped thinking about Jana-Maria.
Anna, how did you deal with Dominik kissing several women on the show?
Anna: We talked about everything. For me, the topic of dream dates was an important point because I didn’t want to be confronted with things I didn’t know about when we met again. Dominik was also very honest from the start. I also know what I got myself into. And I always told him that he should try everything, get to know the women, but in the end he should be sure about his decision.
Despite the competition, Anna got along best with Nele (2nd from right).rtl
“I’m still in contact with some of the girls, especially those who shared a room with me.”
You were very good friends with Nele on the show. How is your relationship now?
Anna: We still get along well. Of course, everyone has to process the time at “Bachelor” first. But I still think she’s a cool woman. We are in contact and will have a coffee together soon.
Together with Dominik?
Anna: I think Dominik doesn’t necessarily have to sit next to him.
Dominik: No, I don’t mind if you still keep in touch if you want. But I don’t have to be included in the trio.
Are you in contact with other candidates?
Dominik: No, after Mexico I did not meet any candidate except Anna. I was concentrating on Anna, but Anna was different…
Anna: I’m still in contact with some of the girls, especially those who shared a room with me. Unfortunately, Dominik threw out some of them very early on. (laughs) No, kidding, I’ve been in contact with some girls. And I’m sure I’ll meet up with some too.
“We hugged each other, were extremely happy. A big load fell from my heart.”
Dominik doesn’t want to see his season’s candidates again after the big reunion.rtl
What happened right after the final, when the cameras were off?
Dominik: We hugged each other, were extremely happy. A big weight fell from my heart as well. After that we had a huge party with the production team until the wee hours.
And what’s next for you now – can you imagine taking part in another TV show?
Dominik: We have not yet asked ourselves which formats are suitable for us. We’ll let that come to us. There are no concrete thoughts on this yet.
Anna: Step by step, if someone approaches us now, we think about it. We’re not totally averse to it, we take everything as it comes.
“We already have a shared apartment in Frankfurt, which we are currently setting up.”
For example, what about “The Summer House of the Stars”?
Dominik: At this point I would say no. But we’ll see what’s in store for us. In the end it is important that we have found each other, that we are happy. “Fame” or money should not be in the foreground, but that you remain true to yourself. We’ll have to talk again about whether we’ll put ourselves to the test again.
Anna: I also wanted to say that if one of us was interested in it, then we would have to talk about it again. But at this point we are focused on our relationship and on our “normal” life.
You’ve already moved in together. How far are you and how is it going?
Anna: We already have an apartment together in Frankfurt, which we are currently furnishing. I’ll be in Hamburg for the time being, which means for me that I’ll be commuting, but of course we try to see each other as often as possible. Luckily Dominik is more flexible. But in the long term, until the middle of the year, the lynchpin for us will be Frankfurt.
